1   Listen to the conversation about money. What three reasons does Dr Ibrahim give to argue why money doesn’t make us happy? Do you agree with him?

The three reasons are:

1. People want to make more money than other people around them.
2. Buying things doesn’t make us happier than those who don’t.
3. Making money doesn’t allow us to have more fun.

3   Listen again to Dr Ibrahim and complete the sentences using some of the key words from exercise 2.
